ASIA, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, DUBAI, 09.09.2009 / on the fast track: built in just 4 years with the help of 30000 construction workers, the Dubai Metro was opened on 09.09.09, at 9pm, 9 minutes and 9 seconds by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. An Indian couple is enjoying the ride on the air-conditioned metro train.
