DEUTSCHLAND, Berlin, 24.02.2024 / Der jordanische Film "The Strangers' Case" von Brandt Andersen (mit Urkunde) überzeugte die Amnesty-Jury um Filmproduzentin Dr. Alice Brauner, Anne-Catherine Paulisch, Teamleiterin Kampagnen und Kommunikation von Amnesty International in Deutschland sowie Schauspieler Jannik Schümann. Aus der Begründung: “The Strangers' Case, ein Spielfilm über die Odyssee einer Flucht aus Syrien, ist in jeder Hinsicht gelungen: Vom Drehbuch über die Erzählperspektive bis hin zur schauspielerischen Leistung hat dieser Film alles, was es braucht, um sehr viele Menschen emotional zu berühren”.

GERMANY, Berlin, 24.02.2024 / The Jordanian film "The Strangers' Case" by Brandt Andersen (with certificate) convinced the Amnesty jury including film producer Dr. Alice Brauner, Anne-Catherine Paulisch, team leader for campaigns and communications at Amnesty International in Germany, and actor Jannik Schümann. The reasoning: “The Strangers' Case, a feature film about the odyssey of an escape from Syria, is successful in every respect: from the script to the narrative perspective to the acting, this film has everything it needs to make a lot of people emotional to touch".
