Tawakkol Karman wins the Nobel Peace Prize 2011

Turmoil in Yemen: ASIA, YEMEN, SANA, 21.06.2011: Tawakkol Karman in her tent at Change Square. Ms. Karman, a leader of Yemen's democratic youth movement, is the founder of Women Journalists Without Chains.

Ms. Karman is a winner of the Nobel Peace Prize 2011. She is sharing the prize with Leymah Gbowee of Liberia and Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. The women were recognized for their nonviolent activism.
