Dubai Metro: the future begins now

ASIA, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, DUBAI, 09.09.2009 / the only way is up: built in just 4 years with the help of 30000 construction workers, the Dubai Metro is opened on 09.09.09., at 9pm, 9 minutes and 9 seconds by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, with a ceremony at the Mall of Emirates. Before joining the guests, Sheikh Mohammed and dignities hold an evening prayer at the MoE praying room. The opening of the Dubai Metro falls within the holy month of Ramadan.
